Beauty Ritual

Have you found the holy grail in your skincare? I always admire a person who have great skin. The one who has pinkish, glowing, even tone and pore free face. Anyway who wanted to have a sagging face, right? They say genetics can be a great part for having a nice glow and less wrinkle build up, but  maintaining the looks through skincare of your choice is a great factor to combat skin aging too. As far as I know, they say that Asian are the least to age faster and lucky me in that sense. However I also do my best to take care of my skin. What's the research says is only a plus bonus for an Asian like me. I remember then seeing my parents who undergo with their beauty regimen morning and night, not to call vain but just taking care of their skin. So I was told by my mother to do so, she says the earlier the better the result. I remember using a mild facial wash when I was younger and toner when I'm on my teen years. I just use moisturizer in my 20's and later on an anti aging  creams, up to these day. When I hit 30, later on I  knew that at age 25 anyone can use an anti aging products for ultimate result.*sigh* Now I am a sucker of anti aging products.

For sometime I have tried and tested several products from cheaper cream  to an investing amount of cream .To know what these products can do. I wanted to have a cream that I can replenish anytime and not fussing about the price tag every time I purchase. Honestly being a mother of four, sometimes it's hard to pay for a  php 3-4k worth of moisturizer about ($90 ) and php 2,500 ( $60 ) worth of eyecream for a 2-3 months usage. But I think these can't be the reason for anyone to deprive themselves to look good, am I right? That's the reason why I opted to find product worthy  that is on a cheaper range but giving a good benefit to my skin. However if on a budget I also love to lavish myself with the creams I used when I'm still single, the result is always worth it. So the list of my beauty regimen goes to:
                                                        - Toner -           am & pm
                                                        - Moisturizer      am & pm
                                                        -Eye cream        am & pm
                                                        -Facial Mask     once a week
-Sunblock          am & pm or as needed

Advance eye night repair, Loreal revitalift eye, The Faceshop wrinkle stop, Estee lauder timezone ( not in photo  clinique all about eyes rich. ) I generously put eye cream on my eye contour area as this part is the most prone for wrinkles and crows feet.
Estee Lauder Timezone, Loreal Revitalift moisturizer, Olay   total effects ( not in photo etude house  royal jelly  cream, Clinique super defense spf 25 )
The face shop face mask, vit. a, vit. c, co q10, collagen and pearl. Love to use these  straight from the freedge for soothing and cooling effect. I use one pack once a week. It's all an anti ageing mask, it make the skin firms and glow except for the pearl -it 's for whitening, to even out skin tone )

Product review:

Base on my usage, Estee lauder and clinique absorbs well on face after application. So I love to use them most especially when I'm doing my make up afterwards. The facial contour is well maintain, the skin is glowing in luminousity and the lines are reduce. For eye cream with the same brand it firms, the lines are less visible, the eye contour looks like you always have a good 8 hours sleep, so healthy looking. I love how the clinique all about eyes magically do to diminish my under eye bag circle, so love the result. All five star for me. If budget is not an issue I wanted to have these products replenish at my vanity table every time. Product worthy I must say.:)

On the other hand Loreal revitalift, Olay total effects and etude house royal jelly cream maintains the facial contour, smoothens the skin but lacks on luminous glow as what I saw from the result of the first product mention. On wrinkles, fine lines are less visible.I love how these products  prevents the sagging of the skin importantly on facial contour area. The face shop wrinkle stop eye cream firms and prevents wrinkles, but does not help to diminish under eye circle and does not absorb quickly. My rate is 3.5 star.

These products serves me very well. So what are your skincare must have? What are your own holy grail?  If there's any, would you mind to share? I would love to know.

One Fine Night

Wednesday. It was one of the unplanned  night out. We went to our favorite place where you can shop and dine, then walk to the bay side for some downtime. Sometimes it's a feeling that you want to mellow a bit from your daily routine and go to a place where you can relax and see new things. It's a nice catch for all of us where everyone has it's own activity. A rejuvenation from the  reality of life. Just a perfect night out.

We have a funny conversation here. Love this kind of moment when all of us can laugh till we drop :)and look at my two eldest feet..changing their shoes to comfy slip on. lol
Pardon me can't get enough of my cute treats, the two oven casserole  is an addition.:)
Yummy mango with pearl coolers

Weekend Report

Hi to all! Just a little disturb now with my blog. I can't see the published comment by some of you on the articles that I already posted. However I do see it in the comment section in blogger, so don't worry that      I would not able to read it. Hope to fix this as soon as possible. It makes me happy  to read your lovely comments and thank you for spending some time for it.

Anyway  for moms, last weekend was been extra special because of mothers day. I have time to laid back and my family was the one who's dealing with the chores. It's like a day off  for 1-2 days and really have fun with it. Considering to see their effort and affection for me, most especially hubby. It feels great! Prior to Sunday, I have some time with myself  ( oh with me is son 2 by the way ) We eat out and have time to watched Avengers which is long overdue. We have so much fun watching and this movie brings back my childhood memories seeing Hulk again.yay! Aside from this, I have the chance to catch my monthly facial. So glad. I called the day as a pre-mothers day treat. It was an enjoyable night with my son.

On the day itself our celebration is not lavish. Simple yet meaningful. We are all complete and that makes me happy. Again as a treat I have a hair cut, which is then again long overdue. I always keep my hair in a ponytail for  months and I find it boring. Thank God got the chance to see my hair stylist again. At night I have time to relax with a full body massage. The feeling of sanctuary is endless and I felt that my swelling muscle is gone. I felt totally renewed person afterwards. Had a great time.

One busy Sunday shot from our local coffee shop. I waited nearly 30 mins for a frappucino:(
Yummy cinnamon swirl
Walking like a supervisor
As a treat we bought a character balloon for my sweetie
Shelves that I always love to check out for some new arrivals
New crimson cut stall inside the supermarket that we love to try
I take home some kitchen stuff. Love it! I am also a kitchen accessories addict by the way:)

Happy mother's day!

I always have fun celebrating mothers day. A day full of laughter and cherish moments with my family and a schedule full day date with my friends. This is the day when we talk about the pieces of our life being a woman and most importantly being a mom. Motherhood is a tough 24/7 job but yet really rewarding in the end. I am very thankful to God for the chance that I have experienced to become a mom to my four loving kids. I don't know yet where we heading though, maybe at home or elsewhere - it does not matter. The most important thing is that we will celebrate this day complete.

Have a great day full of LOVE

A pieces of my life as a mom

To all my dear readers who is a mom or will nearly become a mom happy mothers day!!

What I am loving right now

In summer heat like this ( 36-37.5 degrees ) our favorite activities will go malling, nature tripping and an outdoor activities like swimming. In some point  a vacation trip outside the city for some leisure time and to catch some fresh weather. I know we have a tropical country but this heat somewhat makes me insane! Thanks to the photos below for some inspirations and to some cold drinks that helps me freshen a bit..:)

Summer color blocking dress. Beautiful in my eyes
I just love the style and color of this rebecca minkoff bag.Just thinking about the chain strap though. The floral dress  is a plus!
Starbucks cold drink- green tea frappucino is my fave right now
Some new tea flavors to try
Strawberry jam and Orange marmalade from Good Shepherd Baguio City. The taste is incomparable among what I've bought from the supermarket. I asked hubby to buy it for me.
A quite time in a cottage and a big tree like this with some cold drinks and a magazine to read makes me happy
The first time I saw this photo makes me want to have a spacious laundry area, were everything is within reach. Something that you'll look forward to doing the chores again. I believe it's in the nice working space and environment that makes the chores inspirable. Spare me, mom talking here. lol!
Love the candy color print of this Coach snaphead print tote. I think I find their pieces attractive because of the styles and designs plus they do have available colors to choose from. Being addictive to brights  I think that's the reason why I'm still longing for their pieces while I'm also looking for other brand. but definitely they are favorite.:)

1, 2 and last photo from Pinterest,  remaining all from window of happiness

Handbag Lust

If you are reading my blog from the start you know by then that I am a bag fanatic. I remember my first article is all about it. It was my first Coach handbag that was given to me by hubby as a mother's day gift. Even then I like toting bag and  like purchasing them from mango, zara or the like. I was contented then seeing them in few numbers like candy colors. Until one day,  my favorite Liz Claiborne pink hobo torn apart. In the next few months or so the others followed. I remember myself crying when it happened. I can say that I am attached and they gave me happiness. It's  sad most especially if you have favorites, right?  So when I got my Coach, that is the time that I decided to invest on a much durable material that could last for years. An investment I must say. I don't want to see them again torn apart. I want my succeeding purchases  be use by my two daughters in more years to come.

In line with this the considering factor that I normally do when hitting the bag is; COLOR  I 'm attracted to brights but for some reason I find neutral color appealing. MATERIALS  most of my bags are a mix of jacquard, canvas, nylon and leather. Base on what I have now, I find leather beautiful and can last a long time. SIZE because I'm petite, I prefer medium but  I find large tote very useful. STYLE now I like to list first and took a glance of my closet to know if I really need one. It really doesn't matter if I have repetition as long as it suits me.cross body and tote bags are my favorite. LIFESTYLE don't want  a bag that will only stuck in my closet and won't be use. I want to enjoy every minute of using them even though it makes me happy to see them lining in my closet. It's a different issue. RESEARCH  a purse that will cost you that much is entitled to this. It is very important. For now, I'm quite disappointed that two of my handbag wishlist had been crossed out. Due to some sources that gave negative thoughts, it's hard to invest your $ ( php ) if it's not worth it. Considering it came  from a luxury brand, and one of those I'm lusting over.:( For authenticity you can always ask  from purse forum. They are the best on this part and will help you a lot. BUDGET is important. Always deal with this. As much as possible to buy within your budget, to get away from financial trouble. Cash for some reason is the best way to purchase, not unless you're good in handling credits. It's a personal choice.

Below are some pieces that's good in my eye sight *sigh* and *sigh* They are inspiration for me. If money will not be an issue, I want to have them in my closet. Any insights from the photos?

Chloe marcie bag
Tods d styling bag
LV tivoli pm

For some of you who's particular and already have a bag that's durable thru test of time, would you mind giving some advice which to go to a $1,000- $ 1,500 budget? What's your favorite piece in your closet?

Happy weekend!
