"Knowing what you want exempt a person from all the pressure. Fashion and trend come and go, to have a personal style is a classic."
Cosmetics world. Make up. The second thing I enjoy applying on my face aside from skincare lately, but it all started in a bit far timeline. Lipstick and blush, a personal favorite.
While I started taking care of my skin in early years, this lady is a late bloomer to explore and admire make up line. If I remember it right I'm in my early 30's when the fascination in the cosmetics world started. Flashback when I started working in my 20's, I just only use lipstick to have a certain pop of color and refrain from not having a pale look, the dark shade that time is my pick and become my look for years and even typecast me with the tag; the chinky eyes with the dark lipstick.😂 Later on, I explore more colors and became a regular usage of pink shade and added pink with purple undertones through times.
Then in just a snap while in the beauty section looking for a gift, my feet leads me to mac counter, testing lipstick and before I knew it I already purchase a travel size brushes and a blush in pinch o' peach shade. So this time the chinky eye lady learn to put color on her face aside from a glide of lipstick to finish her look.
And that's the start of my admiration to blushes. You know the term there's no such thing as too much blushes? It's a perfect caption for me, good thing I can able to control myself in making purchases. Sometimes you need to close your eyes so that you can control the urge to spend and mindset yourself that I don't need this, I have enough!!👌🏼 ( Says no one ever😂😝)
For now I find time to use blush on a first in first out basis, though there are days I can't control and dig up new one. I learned to put note on dates for expiry reasons to avoid skin irritations. Do you? For all the make up lovers out there that seems to purchase in a weekly basis😳 I'm curious to know, how well did you manage taking notes and letting go of the item even though it looks like new and not even hitting off the pan?
So at this time even though it's a continuous effort to learn new tricks and techniques from make up gurus and beauty bloggers, but it's fun and I enjoy it. And I appreciate the fact that it's the different side of me, my personality that I nurture aside from being a mother. It's the little things that makes me happy. A personal matter, the girl in me, an added things that makes me in a positive thought whenever I pause the button and breath from a busy day. It's something that makes me smile and lift my moral even more, to look good and to feel good.
So mama's, what other personal matters that give you light and bring out the girl in you that help to surround yourself with all the possibility in terms of beauty and fashion?
